1:1 Autism Support Assistant — Secondary Education

Academics is seeking a One to One Autism Support Assistant in Huddersfield to provide tailored 1:1 therapeutic support for secondary pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition.

You will work alongside teachers to support communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, and learning, using autism-specific strategies and low-arousal techniques. A patient, empathetic, and calm approach is essential, with safeguarding and inclusion at the heart of practice.
