Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and caring 1:1 Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming primary school in Southend-on-Sea on a full-time basis. This rewarding role involves providing individual support to a pupil, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential within the classroom environment.

The Role

As a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant, you will:

Provide dedicated support to a pupil on a one-to-one basis Assist with learning activities inside and outside the classroom Support the child's academic, social, and emotional development Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support strategies Promote independence, confidence, and engagement in learning Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment

What We're Looking For

Previous experience working with children in a school, childcare, or support setting is desirable A patient, nurturing, and positive attitude Strong communication and relationship-building skills Experience supporting children with additional needs is beneficial but not essential A genuine passion for helping children succeed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
