1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant - Mornings Only

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced and committed 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a secondary-aged pupil at a specialist school in Ormskirk.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for morning-only hours who has experience supporting pupils with additional needs and can build a positive, trusting relationship with a young person.

The Role

Supporting one secondary-aged pupil on a 1:1 basis Providing tailored support throughout the morning Helping the pupil engage with learning and school routines Supporting emotional regulation, confidence and positive behaviour Working closely with teaching staff and the wider SEN team Adapting your approach to meet the individual needs of the pupil

We're Looking For

Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN Experience working on a 1:1 basis would be highly beneficial Someone patient, calm and consistent A strong understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries The ability to build positive relationships and provide reassurance A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential
