About the Role

Our client requires a dedicated 5G Network Rollout Engineer to support the expansion of their state-of-the-art mobile network in the Manchester area. This role is crucial for the successful deployment and integration of new 5G infrastructure, ensuring seamless service delivery to customers. You will work closely with deployment teams, vendors, and planning engineers to bring next-generation connectivity to the region. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute the deployment of 5G equipment and infrastructure.
• Perform site surveys, installation verification, and commissioning of new base stations and network elements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during the rollout phase, liaising with field technicians and central engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with network design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Manage project timelines and resources effectively to meet deployment targets for 5G services .
• Document installation procedures, test results, and network configurations meticulously.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in mobile network deployment, with specific experience in 5G technologies .
• Familiarity with RAN (Radio Access Network) and core network components.
• Strong understanding of RF principles and site acquisition processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel across the Manchester region.
