7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver to join our well-established client based in Havant.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing, full-time work with excellent earning potential, good hours, and genuine opportunities for long-term progression.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a Category C1 Driver , Truck Driver or Lorry Driver .

Rates of Pay:

• £14.17 per hour basic rate
• £21.66 per hour overtime rate

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• 7.00am or 11.00am starts
• Must be available for both start times

Day-to-Day Duties:

As a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver , you will work:

• Safely operating a 7.5 Tonne vehicle to complete multi-drop deliveries
• Loading and unloading boxes and packages for onward delivery
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects or issues
• Ensuring all loads are secured correctly and transported safely
• Maintaining accurate delivery and compliance records
• Communicating effectively with depot and delivery teams

Essential Skills:

To be successful as a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver , you will need:

• Valid UK Category C1 Licence
• Minimum 24 months' experience driving C1 vehicles xwwtmva
• Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN, DR, DD or CD codes)
• Good communication and English language skills
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
• Understanding of traffic laws and road safety

Training:

• Vehicle safety and compliance training provided
• Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment
