7.5 Tonne Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Durham area. We are looking for multiple 7.5 Tonne drivers to join the team.

Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00am starts Pay Rates: £16.05 PAYE Per Hour Location: Durham . DH1

Job Type: Temp to perm The role:

• Manual handling heavily involved including loading and unloading parcels at depots and customer locations. . Handling devices and company software to update delivery statuses

. Up to 30 deliveries / collections

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring roadworthiness and compliance with company standards.
• Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road.
• Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.

Requirements

• Full UK licence with 7.5 tonne entitlement (CAT C1) . New pass welcome.
• Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
• Full understanding of WTD legislation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A safety-first mindset.
