Pertemps are currently recruiting 7.5T Drivers to join our client's Street Cleaning Team in Edinburgh. This is a hands-on role where you'll support environmental services by collecting bulky household items and helping keep local communities clean and safe.
Location: EH14 2TF
Hours: Monday to Friday 06.45 – 14.42with 45 minute unpaid break
Pay: £14.51 per hour
Duration: Temporary – ongoing work

The 7.5T driver will:
- Driving a 7.5-ton vehicle as part of the bulk uplift service
- Collecting bulky household items (furniture, appliances, mattresses, etc.)
- Working with the crew to safely lift, load, and remove items from properties
- Following planned routes and schedules efficiently
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any issues
- Interacting with the public professionally when required
- Maintaining excellent safety standards at all times
The 7.5T driver requires:

- Valid UK driving licence with C1 category
- CPC qualification card and Tacho card
- Experience operating larger vehicles
- Good health & safety awareness
- Team player with good communication skills
- Physical fitness – regular lifting and manual handling is part of the role
