Location: Leicester Pay Rate: £13.85ph Hours: 06:00am - finish Shift: Monday–Friday - odd Saturday Job Type: Permanent

Driver Hire are currently recruiting for an experienced 7.5T HGV Driver to join our client, a busy and well-established fruit and vegetable wholesaler.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable driver looking for regular, ongoing work with a friendly and professional company.

🚚 The Role

• Driving a 7.5T vehicle delivering fresh fruit and vegetables to customers

• Completing multiple deliveries throughout the day

• Loading and unloading goods

• Checking delivery notes and ensuring orders are delivered accurately

• Providing excellent customer service at each delivery

• Carrying out daily vehicle checks

• Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time

👤 The Ideal Candidate

• Valid 7.5T / Category C1 licence

• CPC and Digi Tachograph

• Previous commercial driving experience

• Multi-drop delivery experience preferred

• Experience within fresh produce, food or wholesale distribution would be an advantage

• Physically fit, as some manual handling is involved

• Reliable, punctual and professional

• Good communication and customer service skills
