A Licensed Engineer
Location: Luton
Employment Type: Permanent
Shift Pattern: 5-5-4 days and nights
Hours: 12-hour shifts
Line Up Aviation is working with a leading aviation client who is looking to appoint an A Licensed Engineer to join their maintenance operation at London Luton Airport.
This is a permanent opportunity working a 5-5-4 shift pattern covering days and nights. The successful candidate must hold a UK CAA Category A Licence and have hands-on maintenance experience working on Airbus A320 aircraft.
Responsibilities
Carry out aircraft maintenance in accordance with approved data, company procedures and regulatory requirements.
Certify maintenance tasks within the scope of your licence and company authorisations.
Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, defect rectification and component replacements.
Assist with diagnosing and troubleshooting aircraft defects.
Ensure all maintenance documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Maintain compliance with UK CAA regulations, company procedures and safety standards.
Work closely with B1/B2 Licensed Engineers, mechanics and wider maintenance teams.
Promote a strong safety culture and support continuous improvement across the operation.
Essential Requirements
UK CAA Part-66 Category A Licence.
Hands-on experience working on Airbus A320 aircraft.
Base and/or line maintenance experience on commercial aircraft.
Recognised apprenticeship, diploma or equivalent aircraft maintenance qualification.
Valid right to work in the UK.
Willingness to work a 5-5-4 shift pattern covering days and nights.Desirable
A320 type rating.
Current or recent company approvals/authorisations on A320 aircraft.
Previous line maintenance experience.
