About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and driven Account Development Manager to join their expanding sales department in Edinburgh, Scotland . This role focuses on identifying and developing new business opportunities within existing client accounts, as well as prospecting for new clients. You will be responsible for understanding the unique challenges and goals of businesses and demonstrating how our client's solutions can provide tangible value. This hybrid position offers a flexible work model, combining essential in-office collaboration with the convenience of remote work, ensuring you can effectively manage your territory and client relationships across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to identify and cultivate new sales opportunities within designated accounts and markets.
- Conduct research to understand prospective clients' industries, business needs, and potential pain points.
- Initiate contact with key decision-makers through various channels, including email, phone, and networking events.
- Present compelling proposals and solutions tailored to meet specific client requirements and objectives.
- Collaborate with account management and technical support teams to ensure successful client onboarding and ongoing satisfaction.
- Track sales activities, manage pipelines, and report on progress towards sales targets using CRM tools.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development.
- Strong understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales automation tools.
