Account Executive (SaaS)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Executive with a focus on Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions, based in their Cambridge office. This role is responsible for driving new business acquisition and managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing. You will work closely with prospective clients to understand their unique challenges and demonstrate how our innovative SaaS products can provide significant value and drive business outcomes. We are looking for a passionate sales professional who excels in a client-facing role and is eager to contribute to our company's rapid growth within the tech industry, operating from a central Cambridge location.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and target new business opportunities within specified market segments.
• Conduct effective discovery calls and product demonstrations tailored to client needs.
• Manage and nurture the sales pipeline from lead to close.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales agreements to meet and exceed targets.
• Collaborate with marketing and customer success teams to ensure a seamless client experience.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive SaaS offerings.

Requirements

• Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within the SaaS industry.
• Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales quotas.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to understand complex technical solutions and articulate their business benefits.
• Strong understanding of the sales process and CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
