We are seeking a Account Manager to help accelerate growth in this key strategic business unit.

The Account Manager - Powertrain Solutions will enable sales growth and customer development across our Powertrain business. This is a commercial role with responsibility for executing the sales strategy, strengthening strategic OEM relationships, winning new business and delivering sustainable revenue and margin growth across existing and new markets.

Overall Purpose:

Drive sustainable, profitable growth in the European market. Work to deliver the Concentric AB Group Sales Growth Strategy at designated European customers. Drive Sales Growth at designated customers and also at new customers within the European Market. Manage and Maintain pricing activities – Raw Materials, Contracts etc. Contribute to local budgets, forecasts and financial plans for Concentric AB Group from your client list. Build strong partnerships with key clients for continued and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for:Account ManagementIdentify growth opportunities within designated customer base.Support negotiation with customer, on new opportunities, pricing, commercial terms.Manage customer Business Reviews.Cross-sell Concentric Group product where appropriate.Interact with designated customers cross functionally, supporting Logistics, Quality and Finance interactions.Support the preparation of Business Cases, and RFQ responses as required.ReportingReport monthly to the Powertrain Sales VP, and Group leadership, on behalf of the designated customers, the opportunity pipeline showing new opportunities added, opportunities moving through the various stages of negotiation to completion and implementation.Understand and prepare commentary for monthly finance report.Produce short/mid/long term forecasts for Group from the pipeline, order book and the order intake.BudgetsWork with the European sales team to create the production of annual Budgets and forecasts.

Person Specification – Qualifications:

Experience within technical sales.Good standard of general education.Fluent in English language.Good presentation skills.Good IT skills with Microsoft office suite able to create presentations and reports.

Adaptable, flexible & self-motivated.Market & Commercial Awareness through Tier 1 supply to Blue Chip customers.Understanding of Value Selling Principles.Good Communication skills.Highly organized with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Ability to work with autonomously and as part of a team.Able to prioritize and work to tight deadlines.

Person Specification – Experience

Experience working with OEM’s.Negotiation experience.Experience working in a manufacturing / engineering environment.Practical experience of value-selling technical product.Experience of pricing management.

Occasional Europe-wide travel required.Effective management of workload focusing on priorities and deliverables.Flexible attitude to the working day and where necessary attend calls/video meetings outside of regular working day to accommodate the needs of global time zones.
