About the Role
Our client is searching for an experienced and proactive Account Manager to join their dedicated sales team in Birmingham . In this role, you will be responsible for nurturing and expanding relationships with existing clients, ensuring their continued satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling our client's services. You will act as the primary point of contact, providing exceptional service and support to a portfolio of valuable customers. This is a key position focused on client retention and maximizing account potential within a growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of assigned client accounts, acting as their main point of contact.
- Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve revenue growth and client retention goals.
- Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify new needs.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products or services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client issues and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to better serve clients.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in account management or a related client-facing sales role.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with CRM software and account management tools.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Familiarity with the sales cycle and customer retention strategies is essential.
