About the Role
Our client is actively seeking a dedicated Account Manager to oversee and grow their client portfolio within the Coventry area. This role focuses on nurturing existing client relationships, understanding their evolving needs, and ensuring they receive maximum value from our client's services. You will act as the primary point of contact, driving client satisfaction, retention, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. Success in this position requires exceptional interpersonal skills and a commitment to client success within the vibrant business community of the West Midlands.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing client accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Develop a deep understanding of client business objectives and proactively identify opportunities to provide solutions.
- Conduct regular client check-ins and business reviews to assess performance and gather feedback.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for upselling and cross-selling new products and services to existing accounts.
- Serve as the main liaison between the client and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution.
- Track key account metrics and provide regular reports on account health and growth trajectory.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Account Manager or in a similar client-facing sales role.
- Strong understanding of account management principles and customer relationship management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze client data and identify trends and opportunities.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to client success.
