About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Account Manager to join their thriving sales division in Birmingham . In this crucial role, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with a portfolio of existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities for increased business. You will act as the primary point of contact, fostering loyalty and driving client retention. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, a client-centric approach, and a passion for delivering exceptional service in a face-to-face sales environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of assigned client accounts, acting as the main point of contact for all inquiries and needs.
- Develop and execute strategies to deepen client relationships and increase customer lifetime value.
- Conduct regular client meetings and business reviews to ensure satisfaction and identify potential growth areas.
- Understand client business objectives and align our client's solutions to meet those needs effectively.
- Resolve client issues and complaints promptly and efficiently, escalating when necessary.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and customer support, to ensure a seamless client experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Account Manager or in a similar client-facing sales role.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and courteous demeanour.
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales management software.
- Ability to travel within the Birmingham area as needed to meet with clients.
