£50,000 - £60,000 + Benefits

Clark Wood are recruiting for an Accounts & Audit Manager to join an established independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Northallerton .

The role would suit an Audit Manager, Accounts Manager, Client Manager or Senior Audit & Accounts professional who is ACA/ACCA qualified and looking for a varied role with strong client exposure.

The Role

• Managing a portfolio of audit and accounts clients
• Planning and reviewing statutory audits
• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts under UK GAAP
• Reviewing corporation tax computations
• Acting as a key client contact
• Managing deadlines, budgets and workflow
• Reviewing work completed by Seniors and trainees
• Supporting and mentoring junior staff
• Working with Partners on client management and business development

About You

• ACA or ACCA qualified
• Previous UK accountancy practice experience
• Experience managing audits and reviewing accounts
• Strong audit, accounts and UK GAAP knowledge
• Good client management and communication skills
• Experience supervising and developing junior staff
