Status: Permanent, part time
Location: Warren Lodge, Broughton, Banbury, OX15 5EF
Report To: Partner
Monday to Friday (4 days per week including Mondays and Fridays); 30 hours + per week; 9 – 5.30pm; 1 hour unpaid lunch break with some flexibility
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum pro-rata; subject to experience
Benefits: Holidays, - 24 days increasing to 28 days after 2 years of employment + bank holidays pro-rata

Great knowledge of Xero?
Amazing attention to detail?
Full understanding of VAT returns and preparing of budgets and cash flows?

A UK driving license due to our location

The opportunity:
This is a varied and hands-on opportunity to work within a small and friendly team.
This role will include processing invoices and coding them for approval, submitting VAT returns, preparation of budgets and cash flows and year end accounts to trial balance using Xero accounting software. You will also be responsible for keeping tenancy and rental records up to date (training will be provided) as well as carrying out the bookkeeping for several retained clients. There will be some secretarial tasks too.

We are a firm of rural surveyors and land agents dedicated to providing the highest quality rural estate management and associated rural professional services to all its clients. We also provide one-off professional services for individual instructions.
Please note we are an animal friendly office – so we do have some dogs in the office (although we are at capacity now).
If you have Essential:
Proven accounts experience relevant to the job
Previous experience with Xero
Amazing knowledge of Excel
Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
Numerate
GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English
UK Driving licence
