Senior Accounts Manager – Thornbury
£45,000 to £55,000 + Benefits + Career Progression
Clark Wood are recruiting for an experienced Senior Accounts Manager to join a respected firm of Chartered Accountants in Thornbury .
The role would suit an ACA/ACCA qualified Accounts Manager or Client Manager looking for a senior leadership role, with a potential pathway to Director .
You’ll lead an established OMB team , manage a varied client portfolio and work closely with Partners on the growth of the practice.
The Role

• Leading and developing the OMB accounts team
• Managing a portfolio of OMBs, SMEs and entrepreneurial clients
• Acting as a key client contact
• Reviewing statutory and management accounts
• Reviewing tax compliance work
• Providing commercial accounting advice
• Managing workflow, deadlines and quality
• Coaching and mentoring junior staff
• Working with Partners on advisory and practice development

About You

• ACA or ACCA qualified
• Strong UK accountancy practice experience
• Previous Accounts Manager / Client Manager experience
• Strong accounts, tax and advisory knowledge
• Proven team leadership experience
• Excellent client and communication skills
• Commercial approach with the ability to advise business owners
