Accounts Semi Senior – Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire£28,000 - £35,000 + Career Progression
Clark Wood are recruiting for an Accounts Semi Senior to join a growing firm of Chartered Accountants in Stoke-on-Trent .
The role would suit an Accounts Semi Senior, Accounts Assistant or AAT Qualified Accountant with previous accountancy practice experience.

The Role

• Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
• Assist with Corporation Tax computations and returns
• Prepare VAT returns and bookkeeping
• Support with management accounts
• Liaise directly with clients and handle queries
• Work closely with Managers and Partners
• Support junior team members where required

About You

• AAT qualified, studying ACA / ACCA or QBE
• At least 2 years' practice experience
• Experience preparing accounts for a varied client portfolio
• Knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks or Sage
• Good communication skills
• Keen to progress within accountancy practice
