Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and maintenance of actuarial models for pricing, reserving, and capital management.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, assess risks, and support strategic decision-making.
- Contribute to the preparation of actuarial reports and presentations for senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Support the pricing of new and existing insurance products, ensuring profitability and competitiveness.
- Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and finance teams to ensure a cohesive approach to risk management.
- Undertake actuarial examinations and pursue professional actuarial qualifications.
Requirements
- Progress towards or completion of a recognized actuarial qualification (e.g., IFoA exams).
- Strong mathematical, statistical, and analytical skills.
- Experience with actuarial software, statistical modeling tools (e.g., R, Python), and database management (SQL).
- Excellent report-writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with the insurance industry and regulatory landscape is advantageous.
