About the Role

Our client is seeking a bright and analytical Actuarial Analyst to join their growing team in Leeds . This role is essential for developing and analyzing insurance pricing, reserving, and risk models. You will work closely with actuaries and other departments to provide critical data-driven insights that inform business strategy and decision-making. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of actuarial models for pricing, reserving, and forecasting.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, assess risks, and provide insights to business stakeholders.
• Support the preparation of regulatory filings and internal reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with pricing, reserving, and finance teams to refine assumptions and methodologies.
• Undertake actuarial examinations and progress towards professional actuarial qualifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Progress towards or completion of actuarial exams (e.g., IFoA, SOA).
• Proficiency in statistical software and programming languages (e.g., R, Python, SQL) is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
