Job Description
We are looking for an organised, proactive and enthusiastic Admin & Social Media Coordinator to join our client who are a growing business based in Calverton who have a busy calendar of events and activities. This is a temporary to permanent vacancy with working hours being Monday – Friday 09:00am – 05:00pm.
This is a varied role combining general administration, social media and event support. The successful candidate will primarily provide day-to-day administrative support while also helping to maintain the company’s social media presence and promote upcoming events. Due to the location, you must be able to drive to get to work. Office-based initially, with hybrid working available to discuss upon becoming permanent. Pay would initially be £12.71 with opportunities for increases.
This would suit someone who is confident, organised and happy to get stuck in, with a willingness to learn and take responsibility for their work. A friendly environment where no two days are necessarily the same.
Key Responsibilities
Providing day-to-day administrative support Responding to emails, enquiries and general correspondence Assisting with bookings, enquiries and general customer administration Organising information and keeping systems up to date Supporting the wider team with general administrative tasks Communicating professionally with customers and the general public Managing and maintaining the company’s social media platforms Creating and scheduling engaging posts Promoting upcoming events, activities and business updates Keeping social media channels active, informative and engaging Supporting the development of ideas for future social media content Helping coordinate promotional material and event communications Working with the wider team to ensure events are effectively promoted We are looking for someone who is:
Organised and able to manage their own workload Confident using computers and everyday office software Comfortable communicating with customers, suppliers and colleagues Proactive and willing to take ownership of tasks Creative and interested in social media and content Happy working across a variety of different responsibilities Reliable, professional and committed to producing a high standard of work Competent, hardworking and willing to get stuck in
Previous experience in administration, social media, marketing or events would be beneficial, but we are also open to candidates with transferable experience and the right attitude.
