Administration Officer / Receptionist/ The Link Academy

We are wanting to appoint a friendly, approachable and enthusiastic receptionist/administrator to join our great team. You will be based in our newly refurbished reception area with other members of our admin team. You will be the first point of contact providing a full receptionist service, greeting parents, visitors and staff creating a welcoming first impression. Ideally you will have experience of an educational setting, school reception or administration office and be able to work under pressure and multitask effectively. Working pattern is 1.15pm to 4.30pm Monday to Friday, term time only.

The Link Academy was praised by Ofsted in May 2026 as an “ambitious and inclusive school” where “pupils flourish.” Inspectors highlighted the academy’s calm, respectful and supportive environment, noting that pupils feel safe, demonstrate excellent attitudes to learning and benefit from strong pastoral care. The school achieved Strong judgements in attendance and behaviour, inclusion, leadership and governance, and personal development and wellbeing, with achievement, curriculum and teaching meeting the Expected standard. Achieving four Strong judgements under Ofsted’s new inspection framework is a significant accomplishment and places the academy among a small number of schools in the region to achieve such recognition.
