Salary: £25,500.00-£26,500.00 per year.

Overview

Refuse Vehicle Solutions Ltd (RVS) is a leading supplier of refuse vans in the UK, offering vehicle remanufacturing, repairs, servicing, a mobile engineer network, and more.

The Administrative Assistant will provide secretarial and administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), ensuring efficient executive operations.

Responsibilities

• Attend strategy sessions, SLT meetings, and other important events to ensure that the minutes are clear, succinct, and useful.
• Distribute meeting materials, create agendas, and monitor action items.
• Schedule appointments, keep track of diaries, and plan meetings both inside and outside the company.
• Prepare reports or presentations as needed, handle correspondence, and draft emails.
• Exercise caution and secrecy in all correspondence and documentation.
• Maintain and arrange both physical and digital filing systems, if necessary.
• Assist SLT members with logistical planning, cost claims, and travel arrangements.
• Communicate on behalf of the SLT with external stakeholders and internal departments.
• Find ways to make administrative procedures more efficient.
• Assist the SLT-led programs and initiatives on an as‑needed basis.

General Details

• Hours: 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm.
• Employment: Permanent agreement with a six‑month trial period.
