About the Role
Our client, a dynamic charity focused on providing essential support services to vulnerable adults in Reading , is seeking a highly organised and efficient Administrator . This role is fundamental to the smooth operation of the organisation, providing crucial administrative support to ensure services are delivered effectively and efficiently. You will be the first point of contact for many, managing inquiries, maintaining records, and supporting the wider team in their vital work within the Berkshire community. This is a key position for someone with excellent organisational skills who is passionate about supporting a meaningful cause.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and postal mail.
- Maintain and update databases, filing systems, and organisational records accurately.
- Provide administrative support to the team, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and coordinating logistics.
- Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other essential documentation.
- Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring a well-resourced working environment.
- Act as a welcoming point of contact for visitors and service users in Reading .
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative or secretarial role.
- Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks in a busy environment.
