About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Adult Education Tutor to deliver English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes in Nottingham . You will be responsible for creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment, designing and delivering engaging lessons, and assessing learner progress. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging ESOL lessons to adult learners at various proficiency levels.
• Assess learners' current English language skills and develop individualized learning plans.

• Utilize a range of teaching materials and methodologies to cater to diverse learning needs.

Requirements

• A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., CELTA, DELTA, TEFL, PTLLS, CTLLS, or equivalent).
• Experience teaching ESOL or EFL to adults.
• Strong understanding of language acquisition principles and adult learning theories.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting adult learners from diverse backgrounds.
