Adult Social Worker

We are currently recruiting Adult Social Workers to work with Newcastle City Council on a temporary agency basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy local authority team and make a genuine difference to the lives of adults and their families.

The Role

Carrying out assessments under the Care Act 2014 Developing, implementing and reviewing care and support plans Managing a varied caseload of adults with complex needs Working collaboratively with individuals, families and partner agencies Promoting independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes Completing reviews, safeguarding enquiries and relevant social work documentation Working within local authority policies, procedures and statutory frameworksAbout You:

Qualified Social Worker with a valid Social Work England registration Previous experience within Adult Social Care Strong knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and safeguarding procedures Ability to manage a caseload effectively and work autonomously Excellent communication, assessment and report-writing skills Previous local authority experience is desirableWhy Apply?
