Liquid Personnel are currently working exclusively alongside our esteemed client in the East Midlands to recruit for an Advanced Practitioner to join their Child Protection and Permanency team. Duties of a Child protection and permanence Advanced Practitioner
- To work as part of the team delivering services to Children In Need/In Need of Protection as part of an integrated service delivering high quality services with families and carers.
- To mentor and supervise other social workers and social work assistants.
- To lean on and role model exceptional social work values and practice, supporting the development of others within the service.
- To be responsible for and hold a number of complex cases and ensure children are safeguarded as well as promoting and role modelling good social work practice.
- Salary ranging from £42,708 – £45,718 plus £3,000 market supplement
- Very low caseloads

Key requirements for the role
To apply for the post, you must meet the following requirements:
- Current SWE registration and valid right to work in the UK
- Have completed your ASYE and significant post qualified experience in Child Protection and Care Planning
- UK driving licence
- Knowledge of Child-care legislation
- Skilled in the management of risk and assessment of children's needs
- Great communication skills, able to explain complicated information simply
- Knowledge of the issues that affect parenting capacity and the impact of deprivation on child development
- Experience of Signs of Safety methodology
