Role: Advanced Scaffolder
Location: Barracks Road, Wigan, WN2 5TE
Rate: £28
Hours: 08:00 - 18:00 Monday to Friday
Duration: 6 weeks
Our client, a leading multidisciplinary main contractor specialising in construction and civil engineering projects across the UK, is currently seeking Advanced Scaffolders to join them on a busy site based at Barracks Road, Wigan, WN2 5TE.
As an Advanced Scaffolder, your duties will include:
Erecting, altering and dismantling advanced scaffolding structures safely and efficiently
Working from drawings, plans and site requirements to ensure scaffolds are constructed accurately
Installing complex scaffolding systems, including independent, birdcage, loading bay and temporary works structures
Carrying out inspections and ensuring scaffolding complies with relevant health and safety standards
Working at height while following all site safety procedures and using appropriate PPE
Assisting with general scaffolding duties and maintaining a safe and tidy working area
Working closely with other site trades and the site management team
Ensuring all scaffolding work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with site requirementsRequirements:
Proven experience working as an Advanced Scaffolder on construction or civil engineering sites
Valid CISRS Advanced Scaffolder qualification
