Adventure Sports Instructor

About the Role

Our client is seeking qualified and enthusiastic Adventure Sports Instructors to join their team in the scenic surroundings of Bristol . This role involves leading and instructing groups in a variety of outdoor adventure activities, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of participants. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, managing equipment, and upholding the highest standards of safety protocols. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced instructors to share their passion for the outdoors and adventure with a diverse range of clients, contributing to memorable experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and safe instruction in various adventure sports (e.g., climbing, kayaking, cycling).
• Ensure all participants are briefed on safety procedures and equipped appropriately.
• Manage and maintain all adventure sports equipment to a high standard.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety management plans for all activities.
• Provide excellent customer service and build a positive rapport with clients.
• Assist with the planning and organization of adventure activity sessions and expeditions.

Requirements

• Relevant National Governing Body (NGB) qualifications for specific adventure sports.
• Previous experience as an Adventure Sports Instructor .
• Valid First Aid certification (e.g., Outdoor First Aid).
• Strong understanding of safety management and risk assessment in outdoor environments.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
