Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and select appropriate materials (metals, composites, polymers) for aerospace applications based on performance requirements.

- Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to optimize material usage and processing.

- Ensure all material selection and usage comply with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
- Degree in Materials Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in aerospace materials engineering .
- Strong understanding of material properties, failure mechanisms, and material processing techniques.
- Experience with material testing equipment and methodologies.
- Knowledge of relevant aerospace material standards (e.g., AMS, ASTM).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for hybrid work in Nottingham .
