About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous Aerospace Quality Assurance Inspector to join their esteemed operations in Newcastle upon Tyne . This critical role ensures that all manufactured aerospace components and assemblies meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. You will be instrumental in upholding the integrity of our client's products, working closely with production and engineering teams to identify and rectify any deviations. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished aerospace products.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments and testing equipment to verify conformance to specifications.
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain comprehensive quality records.
• Identify non-conforming products or processes and initiate corrective action procedures.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100 standards and other relevant aerospace quality regulations.
• Participate in internal and external audits and supplier quality assessments.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quality Inspector, preferably within the aerospace or a related high-precision manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of quality control principles, inspection techniques, and measurement tools.
• Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and methodical approach to work.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
