Aerospace Systems Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and innovative Aerospace Systems Engineer to contribute to cutting-edge projects from their facility in Reading . This role involves the design, integration, testing, and validation of complex aerospace systems, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and safety. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering teams, contributing expertise in areas such as avionics, propulsion, or structural systems, and playing a key role in the development of next-generation aircraft and aerospace technologies within a leading firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate aerospace systems, ensuring adherence to project requirements and specifications.
• Perform system analysis, modelling, and simulation to predict performance and identify potential issues.
• Develop and execute test plans for hardware and software components, troubleshooting and resolving integration challenges.
• Create and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and testing, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices in aerospace engineering.

Requirements

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in aerospace systems engineering , with a strong understanding of system design principles.
• Experience with system modelling and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, DOORS).
• Knowledge of avionics, control systems, propulsion, or other relevant aerospace domains.
• Familiarity with aerospace standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
