Aerospace Systems Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative and analytical Aerospace Systems Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and integration of advanced aerospace systems in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire . You will be involved in the full lifecycle of aerospace projects, from conceptual design through to testing and validation. Key Responsibilities

• Define system requirements, specifications, and architecture for new aerospace projects.
• Oversee the design, development, and integration of aerospace components and subsystems.
• Conduct system performance analysis, simulations, and feasibility studies to ensure optimal design.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, procedures, and validation protocols.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams.
• Manage system interfaces and ensure seamless integration of various subsystems.

Requirements

• Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in aerospace systems engineering , with a strong understanding of systems development lifecycles.
• Proficiency with systems engineering tools and methodologies (e.g., DOORS, SysML, MBSE).
• Experience in requirements management, system design, integration, and verification & validation (V&V).
• Familiarity with aerospace standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
