About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Systems Integration Engineer to join their team in Oxford . This challenging role focuses on ensuring the seamless integration of various complex systems within aerospace platforms. You will be responsible for defining interfaces, managing dependencies, and verifying the correct functioning of integrated systems throughout the product lifecycle. This hybrid position allows for vital on-site collaboration with engineering and testing teams, combined with the flexibility of remote analysis and documentation. It's a key role in delivering cutting-edge aerospace solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define system architectures and interfaces for complex aerospace systems .
- Develop and manage system integration plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Oversee the integration process, ensuring compatibility between subsystems (e.g., avionics, power, propulsion).
- Conduct system testing, verification, and validation activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, coordinating with relevant engineering disciplines.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant aerospace standards and regulations.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in systems integration within the aerospace sector.
- Proven experience with system architecture design and interface management.
- Strong understanding of avionics, control systems, and aerospace hardware/software integration.
- Familiarity with systems engineering methodologies and tools (e.g., MBSE, SysML).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with experience in hybrid working environments.
