About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Aerospace Systems Technician to contribute to their advanced aerospace projects in Coventry . This role involves the installation, testing, and maintenance of complex avionic and electrical systems on various aircraft platforms. Key Responsibilities
- Install, integrate, and test avionic, electrical, and other aircraft systems according to engineering specifications and technical drawings.
- Perform troubleshooting and repair of system malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
- Conduct functional checks and performance validation of installed systems to ensure compliance with design requirements.
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed, including test results and component traceability.
- Collaborate with design engineers to provide feedback on system installation and performance for future design improvements.
Requirements
- Significant experience as an Aerospace Systems Technician or similar role within the aerospace industry.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft electrical systems, avionics, and related hardware.
- Proficiency in using test equipment, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and diagnostic software.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent analytical skills and a commitment to quality and safety in a technical environment.
