About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive Aerospace Test Engineer to contribute to their innovative projects in Brighton . This role focuses on designing, developing, and executing test procedures for complex aerospace systems and components. You will be instrumental in validating designs, ensuring performance under various conditions, and identifying potential issues before they reach flight. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans and procedures for aerospace hardware and software.
- Set up and operate test equipment, including data acquisition systems and environmental chambers.
- Execute tests according to established protocols, document results meticulously, and analyze performance data.
- Troubleshoot test setups and equipment failures, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
- Collaborate with design and systems engineers to validate designs and provide feedback for improvements.
Requirements
- Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in aerospace testing , including hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, environmental testing, or structural testing.
- Proficiency with test automation software and data analysis tools.
- Understanding of aerospace systems and components, with a strong grasp of engineering principles.
- Excellent technical documentation and communication skills for reporting findings in Brighton .
