About the Role

Our client is seeking an energetic and responsible After School Club Assistant to support their team in Glasgow . This part-time role involves supervising and engaging with primary school-aged children in a fun and safe environment after school hours. You will assist in organizing a variety of activities, ensuring children's welfare, and communicating with parents. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise children aged 5-11 years in a safe and engaging after-school setting.
• Assist in planning and delivering a range of stimulating activities, including arts, crafts, sports, and games.
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children under your care.
• Provide a supportive and positive atmosphere for children.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's participation and behaviour.
• Assist with snack preparation and clean-up duties.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children is advantageous.
• A passion for working with children and supporting their development.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures is desirable.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and enthusiastic.
