About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and responsible After School Club Leader to manage their program in Nottingham . You will be responsible for supervising children aged 5-11, providing a safe, fun, and engaging environment after school hours. This role involves organising a variety of activities, ensuring children's welfare, and communicating with parents. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in a range of stimulating and fun activities, including arts, crafts, sports, and games.
• Ensure the safety, well-being, and security of all children attending the club.
• Plan and prepare age-appropriate activities, ensuring resources are available and the environment is welcoming.
• Manage children's behaviour positively and consistently, adhering to the club's policies.
• Welcome children and parents, communicating effectively about the daily program and any relevant information.
• Maintain a clean and tidy club environment, including setting up and clearing away activities.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school, club, or childcare setting.
• A genuine interest in child development and recreational activities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies is essential.
• A qualification in childcare, youth work, or a related field is desirable.
