About the Role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and responsible After School Club Playworker to join their team in Leeds . This role involves providing a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for primary school-aged children after school hours. You will be responsible for organizing and facilitating a range of fun activities, ensuring children's well-being and social development. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise children aged 4-11 during the after-school club hours.
• Plan and deliver a variety of creative, physical, and educational activities.
• Ensure the safety and welfare of all children, adhering to policies and procedures.
• Provide snacks and support children with homework if required.
• Promote positive behaviour and social interaction among the children.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children is essential.
• A passion for play and child development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage groups of children effectively and ensure their safety.
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures is a must.
• Reliable and punctual with a flexible attitude.
