About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and engaging After School Club Playworker to join their team in Bradford . You will be responsible for providing a fun, safe, and stimulating environment for primary school-aged children after school hours. This role involves organising and facilitating a range of activities, including arts and crafts, sports, games, and homework support, ensuring children have a positive and enriching experience. If you have a passion for working with children and enjoy creating engaging activities, this part-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the wellbeing and development of children in the local community, with potential for flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage with children aged 4-11 years in a safe and stimulating environment.
• Plan and deliver a variety of fun and age-appropriate activities, including games, crafts, and sports.
• Assist children with homework and provide support as needed.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times, adhering to safeguarding policies.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's day and any concerns.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school or club setting.
• A genuine interest in child development and play.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a group of children and maintain behaviour positively.
• Willingness to undertake relevant training, such as safeguarding and paediatric first aid.
