Afterschool Wraparound - Childcare Activity Leader

Location: Merchant Taylors’ Prep School WD3 1LW
Hours: 15 hours a week 3.00pm - 6.00pm
Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
Contract: Term-Time Only

Do you have the energy of a superhero, the creativity of an artist, and a passion for working with children? Join our team as a Childcare Activity Leader and turn ordinary mornings and afternoons into unforgettable adventures!

At Junior Adventures Group , we’re not just childcare, we’re champions of fun! From football to face painting, scavenger hunts to snack time, you'll bring smiles, laughter, and energy to our After School Clubs for children aged 4–11.

What you'll do day-to-day:

• Deliver exciting, age-appropriate activities like multi-sports, arts & crafts, group games, and creative play.
• Set up engaging play spaces and keep things safe, clean, and awesome .
• Supervise children with care and enthusiasm, ensuring every child feels welcome, safe, and included.
• Prepare snacks and manage sign-in/out processes with a friendly face and attention to detail.
• Be a team player who can also take the lead when needed.

What we’re looking for:

• Someone who loves working with children and brings a positive, can-do attitude
• A creative thinker who knows how to turn an ordinary afternoon into a magical experience
• A team player who’s also confident running activities and managing a group
• Bonus points if you have experience in teaching, coaching, childcare, or youth work (but not essential, personality goes a long way!)
