About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager to drive innovation and efficiency within their product development teams in Derby . You will be instrumental in fostering an Agile culture, guiding teams through the implementation of Scrum or Kanban methodologies, and ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects. This role requires a leader who can empower teams, facilitate collaboration, and continuously improve project workflows. You will work closely with product owners, development teams, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication, effective planning, and timely execution of project goals, contributing to the development of cutting-edge solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coach Agile development teams in the adoption and execution of Agile principles and practices.
- Facilitate all Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Manage project scope, timelines, and resources, ensuring successful delivery of product increments.
- Identify, track, and remove impediments blocking team progress.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure a clear and prioritized product backlog.
- Communicate project status, metrics, and risks to stakeholders and management.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Agile Project Manager , Scrum Master, or similar role.
- Strong understanding and practical application of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse teams.
- Certification such as CSM or PSM is highly desirable.
