About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic Agile Project Manager to join their innovative team in Newcastle upon Tyne . This hybrid role offers the flexibility to blend remote work with in-office collaboration, enabling you to drive key projects forward effectively. You will be responsible for guiding project teams through the entire Agile lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions that meet client needs. This position is ideal for an experienced Agile practitioner who excels at facilitating communication, removing impediments, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within a hybrid work setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Manage project backlogs, ensuring user stories are clearly defined, prioritized, and ready for development.
- Coach and mentor project teams on Agile principles and best practices to enhance their effectiveness.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies, escalating issues as needed.
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to ensure project alignment with strategic goals.
- Track project performance using relevant Agile metrics and provide regular status updates.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing projects using Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and frameworks.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing remote and in-office collaboration.
- Relevant Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, CSPO) are a plus.
