Agile Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for a proficient Agile Project Manager to champion agile methodologies and drive software development projects to successful completion in Manchester . You will work closely with product owners, development teams, and business stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Manage the product backlog, ensuring user stories are well-defined, estimated, and prioritized.
• Remove impediments and blockers for the development team to ensure smooth project progression.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Foster strong working relationships with product owners and development teams to ensure alignment and clarity.
• Coach and mentor team members on agile practices and principles to enhance team performance and self-organization.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Agile Project Manager or Scrum Master, with a deep understanding of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in software development lifecycle management.
• Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., CSM, CSPO, PMP-ACP) is a strong advantage.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with agile project management tools like Jira or Confluence.
