About the Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic Agricultural Business Consultant to join their practice serving the agricultural community in and around Norwich . This role requires providing strategic business advice, financial planning, and operational guidance to farmers and agricultural enterprises. You will analyze business performance, identify areas for improvement, and help clients develop plans to enhance profitability, efficiency, and sustainability. The position involves a hybrid working model, combining remote analysis and client meetings with on-site visits to farms and businesses. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the agricultural industry, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive business reviews and financial analyses for agricultural clients.
- Develop strategic business plans, including market analysis, operational efficiency improvements, and investment strategies.
- Advise clients on financial management, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting.
- Provide guidance on diversification opportunities and new market development.
- Assist clients in navigating agricultural grants, subsidies, and regulatory changes.
- Monitor industry trends and provide insights to help clients stay competitive.
- Prepare and deliver professional reports and presentations to clients.
Requirements
- A degree in Agriculture, Business Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business consulting, financial analysis, or management within the agricultural sector.
- Strong understanding of the UK agricultural industry, its challenges, and opportunities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial modelling and business planning software.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- A valid UK driving license and flexibility for travel.
