About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop new agricultural machinery, equipment, and systems using CAD software.
• Test and evaluate prototypes, making modifications to improve performance and reliability.
• Oversee the manufacturing process of new equipment, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Research and implement new technologies, such as automation, robotics, and sensor systems, in agricultural applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve engineering problems related to existing farm machinery and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with agronomists, farm managers, and other stakeholders to understand needs and develop practical solutions.

Requirements

• Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in the design and development of mechanical systems or agricultural machinery.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other engineering design tools.
• Strong understanding of principles of mechanics, hydraulics, electronics, and materials science.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
• Familiarity with modern agricultural practices and technologies.
