About the Role

Our client is looking for an innovative and technically skilled Agricultural Engineer to join their dynamic team in Plymouth . You will work on a variety of projects, from concept to implementation, collaborating with farmers and other stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver effective engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test new agricultural machinery and equipment, ensuring functionality and safety.
• Modify and improve existing agricultural systems and components to enhance performance and efficiency.
• Conduct site visits to farms to assess operational needs and provide engineering solutions and support.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are practical for production.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with machinery and equipment in the field.
• Stay abreast of technological advancements in agricultural engineering and related fields.

Requirements

• Degree in Agricultural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Proven experience in the design and development of agricultural machinery or complex mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering design tools.
• Strong understanding of hydraulics, mechanics, and materials science as applied to agricultural equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively on diverse engineering challenges.
