Our client is seeking a dedicated Agricultural Researcher specializing in Crop Science to join their innovative team. This hybrid role, based near Derby , combines hands-on laboratory and field research with remote data analysis and report writing. You will contribute to developing new crop varieties, improving cultivation techniques, and enhancing crop resilience against environmental stressors and diseases. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research on crop genetics, physiology, pathology, and breeding techniques.

Requirements
- Ph.D. or Master's degree in Crop Science, Plant Biology, Agronomy, Genetics, or a related agricultural field.
- Proven research experience in crop science, including experimental design and data analysis.
- Familiarity with modern plant breeding techniques and molecular biology tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in both laboratory/field settings and remotely.
