About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design and conduct field and laboratory experiments to evaluate crop performance and soil health.
• Analyze experimental data using statistical software and interpret results to inform agricultural strategies.
• Research and develop new crop varieties with improved yield, disease resistance, and nutritional value.
• Investigate and implement sustainable farming practices to minimize environmental impact.
• Prepare scientific reports, publications, and presentations for internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with agronomists, farmers, and other scientists to disseminate research findings and provide technical support.

Requirements

• A postgraduate degree (MSc or PhD) in Agriculture, Agronomy, Plant Science, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in agricultural research, experimental design, and data analysis.
• Proficiency with relevant scientific software, including statistical analysis packages.
• Strong understanding of plant physiology, soil science, and modern breeding techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
